Patriotic Parade begins at 11am from Marathon High School to Sombrero Beach. Join in the fun at Sombrero Beach with food, drinks, crafts, entertainment and fire works after dark.

City of Marathon Parks and Recreation Summer Camp What campers should bring to camp Every day: 1. Water bottle with their name on it 2. Sunscreen lotion (no spray sunscreen) 3. Close-toed shoes 4. 2 snacks and a lunch (excluding lunch on Friday) unless they will be eating from the SOS Foundation (see Menu) Pool Days at Jacobs Aquatic: 1. Bathing suits (come to camp already wearing this) 2. Towel 3. Plastic/zip lock bag (to put wet bathing suit in) 4. Change of clothes 5. A backpack to carry everything Friday’s water activities day at the park: We will be doing some water activities every Friday afternoon; ex.: slip slide, water bombs, water sprinklers, etc., they will need the same as they would for Jacobs Aquatic, but they can change here at the park after lunch. Extra information about camp: Electronics (phones, nintendo, iPads, etc.) and toys (stuffed animals, cars, legos, balls, etc.) are only allowed before and after camp hours and on bus rides to field trips.
