Marathon City Council desired to establish a Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee to increase community input, as well as enhance the Parks and Recreation facilities within the City.
Membership and Term:
The Committee shall be comprised of the following five (5) members:
Each member of the City Council appoints one member of the Committee and the Committee member’s term shall coincide with the term of the Councilmember making the appointment. Members serve without compensation or reimbursement.
1. Review the programs, scheduling, fee structures and maintenance of parks within the City’s jurisdiction.
2. Prepare a quarterly report advising the City Council of its recommendations regarding the utilization.
