The Finance Department, provided on a contract basis, is responsible for ensuring the efficient financial operations of the City as well as establishing internal controls.  Additionally, the department coordinates the external audit and overseas the investments, revenues, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, purchasing and other accounting functions.
