Job Title: Marina-Janitorial/Custodial Services Employee
Category: Part Time: Two positions available, approximately 12-16 hours per week. First position will be hired in March 2018, for four days per week, Wednesday through Saturday. Second position will be hired May 2018, three days per week, Sunday through Tuesday.
Salary: $10.00 per hour with possible increase after positive evaluation.
Description: Cleaning of restrooms, restocking restroom and shower facilities, general cleaning, emptying all trash on property and maintaining the Marina grounds to acceptable standards. Provides for the physical and operational maintenance of the Marina facilities. Is a team member responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the grounds, restroom/toilet facilities, main building, and dock areas. Inspects the entire facility and grounds a minimum of once daily making note of safety problems, hazards, cleanliness needs, maintenance, and mechanical problems. Recommends for correction any items noted needing moderate to heavy maintenance. Meets and greets all Marina and mooring customers in a positive, friendly, and helpful manner. Strives to promote positive public relations and proper municipal perspective among customers, contractors, and other marinas.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required, however applicant must be able to read, write, and speak proficient English. Janitorial experience is preferred but not required. Valid Florida Driver’s license required.
