A note from the City Manager – City of Marathon.  COVID vaccinations are in limited supply within Monroe County currently.  At this juncture, in is our understanding that approximately 600 total vaccinations are made available County-wide and of those 500 are being made available to specific entities for distribution.  Entities within the City, such as CHI have had the vaccine for COVID, but have none currently.  They do expect more.  The City is working diligently to ensure that the state and local authorities responsible for distributing the vaccine are focusing on Marathon and its residents.  Rest assured, the vaccine will be provided in Marathon in the near future, with the noted limitations of how many vaccinations are currently being made available in total.

All available COVID-19 vaccine appointments have been claimed. There is tremendous demand for the vaccine and a limited supply, so check back on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3RD after 6:00 a.m. EST (5:00 a.m. CST) for your next opportunity.
