- Repainting Community Park Admin office, Pavilion and Restrooms. The buildings were pressure washed, repaired, primed and painted a more appealing blue color scheme.
- Repainting the complete exterior of Fire Station #14. The entire building was pressure washed and any cracks or necessary repairs completed. The exterior walls, decks, steps, garage doors and roof sections were all painted.
- Repainting of bay floors inside Fire Station #14. The floors were an unpainted slab, with some superficial cracks showing. Cracks were repaired and then a gray Epoxy paint was applied, then restriped the lines. This gives a professional appearance and is easier for cleanup.
- Repair and replace guardrails along Sombrero Blvd. Many of the posts and rails were badly corroded and in need of replacement. The contractor was able to salvage some of the guardrails, keeping the project cost down. The curve area is neater and safer with the new reflectors and end reflectors.

This allowed us to move the dumpster away from any waterfront exposure, and to help contain trash from blowing towards the water on windy days. Helping to keep our environment and ecosystem clean. It also cleaned up the parking area for a better appearance.
